What matters to Generation Y (Millennials) in their careers?

What makes them stay with their employer? How can we be more inclusive with this generation?

Generation Y, who compose 50% of the global workforce today and 75% just four years from now, have very different views about work and how they wish to be led. The multi-generational workforce has struggled with this tension. Those differing paradigms hold profound implications for how the practice of ‘work’ will occur when Gen Y assumes senior leadership positions in their own right.

Adam Kingl has been researching this topic for a decade, culminating in his book Next Generation Leadership (HarperCollins, 2020). In conversation, Adam will share some of his more surprising findings and peer into the future of work.
